Reading is the second part of the IELTS test. It consists of multiple long passages (quite long indeed) of increasing difficulty. The Academic and General Training Reading Tests are graded to the same level, although the Academic Reading Test are in general more challenging overall. In any case, to succeed you must be able to read fast. And you must be able to quickly (and accurately) identify information, views, facts, words and phrases.
